Meet Stasha
Stasha Harris is the Founder of Magic Fingers, a beauty brand known for its innovation in braiding products and education. What began as a passion for braiding evolved into a career that has impacted thousands through products, training, and mentorship.
With over 20 years in the beauty industry, Stasha spent 18 years successfully building and operating a salon, laying the foundation for what would become the Magic Fingers brand known today for its excellence, consistency, and innovation.
Her work has been featured in major publications including Oprah Magazine, Cosmopolitan, and Black Hair Magazine, establishing her as a respected voice in the industry.
Recognizing the need for structured education in natural hairstyling, Stasha founded Magic Fingers Institute, where she now trains and mentors the next generation of beauty professionals. Through hands-on education and real-world experience, her students graduate prepared to build successful careers.
Born and raised in Trinidad & Tobago, Stasha’s journey is rooted in passion, discipline, and vision. Today, she continues to expand the Magic Fingers brand through product development, education, and global influence within the beauty industry.
Stasha The Inventor
Stasha Harris, Founder of Magic Fingers, is known for her precision, innovation, and attention to detail in braiding. In 2009, she launched Magic Fingers as a braiding salon in Brooklyn, which she successfully built and operated for over 18 years before evolving the brand into what it is today.
Through a strategic partnership with Ampro Industries, Stasha developed and launched her signature product line under the Shine ’n Jam collection. Today, these products are trusted by braiders worldwide and have become industry staples.
Building on that success, the Magic Fingers brand has expanded into a full range of professional products including mousse, sheen, oils, and tools designed to improve efficiency and results for stylists at every level.
Stasha is also the inventor of the Magic Helper, a U.S. patented tool created to save braiders time and improve the preparation process.
Her commitment to innovation, education, and excellence continues to drive the growth of the Magic Fingers brand globally.
